Tower of Bel-Tar

Bel-tar was always a curious person. They never showed real aptitude for the dangerous art of magic, yet they insisted upon becoming a caster of great power. This was tolerated up to a point. When their experiments became increasingly deadly to the populace they were run out of town and forced to live in isolation in the old tower on the outskirts of the village. 

Many years passed, and now strange lights and sounds can be heard whenever anyone passes Bel-tar's tower, but the mage himself hasn't been seen in a long while.
